Committee Introduction

SOCHUM is the Third Committee of the UN General Assembly, responsible for addressing human rights, humanitarian issues, and questions of self-determination. This year, delegates will debate “The Humanitarian Consequences of Private Military and Security Companies (PMSCs)”, examining accountability, international law, and the role of non-state actors in conflict zones.
